“The singer and second guitarist Andrew VanWyngarden certainly had his childish (but in a good way) manner to communicate with the public. Vocals were good, although in some places covered by the other instruments. The “keyboard guy” Ben Goldwasser had his own style with black glasses and without a connection to the crowd, “dressed” in his own way the audio of MGMT. Moreover, Andrew’s voice and Ben’s keys are the hallmarks of the band.

Of the remaining three, stands out the main guitarist, who was “multitasking” and played beyond his own solo on guitar, keyboards and drums. He also had very good stage performance, like the other hairy guy, the drummer. The two sometimes reminded us of the 70s. The bass player may have been quiet, but in regards to music was excellent. Finally, the most essential feature of all was that they showed that they really enjoyed it and this is very important for a good live.” —Giorgos Baliotis
